This popular ex-Shipstones local, run by an enthusiastic couple, takes its name from the nearby former needlemaking factory.  It was created by knocking two former workers' cottages into one and comprises a busy bar area with a quieter lounge area to the left.  To the rear there is a pool/function room that hosts regular beer festivals.  Owned by Punch, many of its beers are sourced from the SIBA list, and a dark beer is a regular feature.  Children welcome until 9pm.
