Monday -Sunday 11 to Midnight A former Shipstones house that became an Indian restaurant has now re-opened following a tasteful refurbishment. This free house now boasts quarry floor tiles, oak pew type benches and wicker chairs, Split into 2 distinctive drinking areas, the bar area is split again into 3 with a lounge on the upper level. 6 handpumps adorn the small copper topped bar where all beers are guests. Weston's cider in bottles is also available. Dog friendly pub. The Queens Head in Marlpool has recently been awarded the Pub of the Year 2011 and previous won the Winter Season pub award in 2010.
