Plain but sociable local which is now the local HQ for Turnstone Taverns, the company that now owns the pub.
Very little has changed over the years. In the 1930’s it was a hotel and stabled horses, still a traditional pub with a few doors missing.
No.1 and Black Cat buses stop close by.
