This former Shipstones house called The Lord Nelson, has undergone a recent resurgence in popularity since the new licensees took over 3 years ago. The large one roomed pub has 3 distinct areas with one at the rear set aside for pub games. Easily recognisable by the bright yellow exterior, there are boat moorings on the Erewash canal opposite.
