John C - Secretary
- Unfortunately,
Dave has had to stand down due to additional work commitments,
so from being branch secretary John has now taken over the reins
as Chairman. A former high ranking police
officer, John and wife Yvonne runs the multi award winning pub,
The Dewdrop in Ilkeston.

Anyas - Secretary

married
to Steve with a teenage family, Anyas was a founder member of
the branch from it's outset in 1996. Having been busy raising
her family for a few years she has now decided to take on the
demanding role of branch secretary.

Simon -
Treasurer -
Simon
has agreed to continue in his role as treasurer for a second
year. Married
to Rachel and with a young son, Simon's interests also include
being an active member of the local running club. Simon has
been a member of the branch since it's inauguration and has
helped out at beer festivals and by auditing the year end
accounts.

Mick - Socials - Since retiring Mick
leads a very active
social life. Not only is he involved in the local folk club and the
Erewash Canal Preservation & Development Society along with his
wife Carole, but he also finds
time to organise train trips and walking
trips for the branch so we can all get together to enjoy a few drinks
and an enjoyable social life.

Lynne - Membership -
Following a couple of years absence from the committee Lynne has
once again joined the fold, this time in the role of Membership
Secretary. Part of her role will be to welcome new members to
the branch and try and find more volunteers to help out at this
years Beer festival in October.

Rachel - Survey Co-ordinator

This is a very important non committee role. Rachel collects all the
survey forms from branch members, and at the end of the year collates all the scores
to form our Top 20 and from these we select our Good Beer Guide entries
and also our Pub of the Year. Rachel is also a very active
member of the local WI.

Barry - Additional committee member

Barry has been an active member of the branch for a number of
years who's opinion and views are always well respected. Due to
work commitments he doesn't have too much spare time to be seriously
involved on the committee but he is always willing to
help out whenever he has some spare time. |
John P - Additional Committee member
- After a number of years as branch
chairman, John has decided to stand down and let someone else take
over the reins. Still very involved in the branch and supporting
Camra aims, the responsibility of chairman became too much. John
is still an active branch member and is willing to offer
his knowledge and expertise to the new committee. Now the branches Beer Festival Organiser
